Another Scary Malware Story
It seems just about every week there’s another story about scary stuff on the internet; malware, viruses, spam, botnets etc. It has become common place to describe the Internet as "the wild west". Really now, was the wild west ever THIS bad? I seriously doubt it!
Here is the latest story from the BBC on malware. The graph below is from the security software testing organisation, AV Test. They reached its total by analysing malicious programs and generating a digital fingerprint for each unique sample.
