For the past several years my employer has sponsored an annual week-long “Celebration of Our People”. This event highlights the talents and creativity of the employees by showcasing their artist works. The performing arts are center stage during lunch hour performances all week. The other arts are available for viewing for the entire week. Previous years I have presented my needle work of cross stitch and hardanger. I have also been fortunate to be selected as an individual artist for a month display of my stitching. This year I decide to show my newest interest and present some modest pencil sketches. While certainly not a accomplished, I choose to exhibit to perhaps inspire other employees to try their hand at drawing.
