Viewing “size” in Outlook Calendar
In my previous post I repeated a post from Outlook Power Magazine that explained how to get a list view of your Outlook calendar. At the end of that post I noted that sorting the view by size helps to find those big calendar attachments cluttering up your mailbox!
It was pointed out to me that size may or may not be one of the columns in the list view. These columns are configurable. So, here is how to add size to your column configuration.
- 1. Use the instructions from the previous post to show a list view.
- 2. Now right-click anywhere in the column headings and select Customize Current View
- 3. Select Fields from the options shown
- 4. Highlight size from the left column, and click Add. Size should show on the right. You can reorder the columns as you like.
- 5. Click Ok twice and you should see a size column. Click on the word size column heading and you will sort calendar entries by size. Look for those big calendar entries clogging your mailbox.
That’s all there is to it!
