My only question is – Instead of Amsterdam, if this was Boston and the Hancock building what would have happened? Probably would have scrambled F-16’s and blown up the van, of course.

actually, Philly provides a ‘laser’ show — history and charges for it. The rest of the country would now not only scramble the F-16s to destroy the RV, but probably the building also, not being able to figure out what the ‘point’ was.
