It’s all just data mining!
The O’Reilly radar blog had a very interesting video on ordering pizza in 2010! This is definitely worth a listen but be warned that the ACLU creators certainly have a point to get across.
Not withstanding their perspective, the video does create a very graphic picture of how close we are to data mining abuses (if we haven’t crossed over already). We will forever be balancing the threats from terrorism and crime against those of information abuse….welcome to our brave new world.
After having just watched “Good Night and Good Luck” I can’t help but wonder what Murrow would have said about this world…..between puffs
